Daniel F. Cameron III, RN

Director Of Nursing and Health Services

A true Colorado native, Danny is truly a product of this community. After being schooled locally, with undergraduate work in business and philosophy, he began a successful career in the world of finance. After a decade of experience, he felt drawn to serve his community in a more direct way, and returned to school, receiving his degree in nursing, and began his career in geriatric care. With nearly a decade of service to the geriatric community, Danny brings a zeal for his role as an advocate for the community he serves. He is active with the Colorado Health Care Association (CHCA), serving on both the QIL (Quality Initiatives and Leadership) committee, as well as the Nurse Executive Council. He also contributed recently to the publication ‘Guidelines for Reducing the Use of Antipsychotic Medications in Nursing Homes’. Danny has also been a driving force in culture change at the communities he has been involved with. With nearly six years’ experience with Colavria Hospitality (The Gardens on Quail’s parent company), he looks forward to bringing a breath of fresh air in to the community and helping it along the way to being the very best home away from home for our rehabilitation and long term care guests.  In his free time, Danny enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying all that this wonderful state has to offer. You will find him enjoying the powder, climbing our mountains or volunteering in the community in the rare event that you find his door closed but, if it is open, please stop by and say hello!
